    • Facebook Live Producer will allow you to bring on a guest, set up split screens, and add text overlays.
    • The tool is built into the web browser and puts other platforms on notice.

A Message from our Head Raven,
Joleen Emery:

Joleen,

Happy weekend, Raven Maven! As we do every weekend, we’re once again bringing you the inside scoop on all the changes and churns in the wild and wooly world of social media marketing!

First up, some Facebook news: For those of you with multiple locations, Facebook is adding the ability to manage all of your pages in one centralized spot. They’re also making changes to Facebook Live, and adding a new “Creative Shop” that will allow you to easily turn still images into short videos (a bit like the iPhone’s “Live Image” feature, or even the moving newspaper images in the Harry Potter series). They’ve also acquired Vidpresso in a bid to help even small businesses create broadcast-quality videos.

Lastly, some non-Facebook news…it might seem early, but it’s time for businesses to begin planning for the holiday shopping season. I know, I know —...

    • Show posts from the brand page only when location pages don't publish their own posts.
    • Never show posts from your brand page to locations.

Source: Advertisemint

  • Facebook has officially released a new feature that allows users to see all the ads that a business page is running.
  • Keep an eye out for new products your competition teases in ads.
    • Use this info to adjust your campaign promoting a rival product and distribute ads before or after your competitor.
  • Identify your competitors' key target locations.
    • Take note of these locations and set your ads to target the same places. Your rival probably has a good reason for targeting those areas.
  • Use Info and Ads as inspiration for new ad creatives.
    • Check out what other businesses in your market are making. Your research can give you some ideas for your own campaign and allows you to see what exactly you're competing with.
  • Check out your competition's offers, sales, and pricing.
    • Make sure your competition isn't offering something better or more tempting than you.
    • Adjust the prices of your...

    • Now they can try on sunglasses, makeup and more all within Facebook.
